Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Appropriate education and/or experience may be substituted on equivalent basis

4-year Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or similar discipline.

6-8 Years of Hands-on SAP FICO configuration and functional design expertise, SAP S/4 experience a plus.

Knowledge of SAP Controlling module and Product Costing highly desirable.

Minimum two full life cycle SAP FICO implementation cycles with at least one in manufacturing industry.

Strong understanding of Record to Report business process flows and SAP process design.

Knowledge of how Record to Report cycle integrates with Source to Pay, Order to Cash and Plan to

produce flow is required.

1-3 Years of manufacturing industry experience

Job Description

SUMMARY

The SAP Manager – RTR will be responsible for delivering the Record to Report solution on a large ERP

Transformation program and providing leadership to ongoing operations. The SAP Manager will closely work with

Record to Report Business Process Owner, ERP system integrator and Subject Matters Experts to define and

standardize end-to end business processes across the company. The role will provide expertise in all aspects of SAP

Finance and Controlling (FICO) as well as integration points with other functional modules.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Utilize SAP ECC/ S/4 best practices in design, configure / develop, test, and deploy an integrated ERP

solution with ECC/ SAP S/4 Hana at the core.

Drive the design of the Global template in the RTR process area.

Build an understanding of the current state to define the future state system and processes for interim

and end states.

Deliver solution models and architectures in line with business requirements, organization, and industry

standards across all the plants globally.

Work with the project stakeholders to understand the business outcomes and recommend options that

provide fit to standard solutions.

Assesses the impact of business change requests on the existing model and assist with the prioritization of

Record to Report solution related changes

Provide direction and guidance ensuring adherence to design standards and the target operating model.

Support the analysts to determine high-level functional and technical requirements, maximizing the use of

standard and out-of-the-box features and capabilities

Be accountable for the viability of the proposed solution and provide direction, advice and guidance on

the appropriate approach to the solution throughout the project

Work and effectively communicates with a wide range of stakeholders across the group in developing a

solution that meet the needs of the business.

Lead a team of IT functional leads and analysts within the Record to Report process area.

Provide SAP FICO expertise through system demonstration and coordinated knowledge sharing sessions

to project team members.

Plan, manage and participate in unit test, integration test, UAT and conference room pilots.

Develop end to end scenarios for test cycle simulations integrating with other processes and external

systems.

Experience with managing projects successfully

Working knowledge of other SAP functional areas such as MM, WM, PP and FICO

Clear understanding of value streams and end-to-end business processes in the SD area

Proficiency with LSMW or other mass conversation tools

Experience with ABAP and Smart forms debugging preferable

Experience with SAP Query and Report Writer preferable

The SAP Functional Lead - QTC will lead the gathering of business requirements, process analysis,

solutions design, system configuration and support across multiple platforms and/or cross-functional areas

in a fast-paced global environment. This individual will work closely with the business users, other IT

resources and consultants to meet required objectives. The candidate will be responsible for providing

leadership as well as hands on experience for implementing “best practice” processes in the Sales and

Distribution (SD) and Global Trade Services (GTS) modules of SAP.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Develop and deliver SAP SD/ GTS solutions to fulfill business requirements

Researches, analyzes, designs, identifies, and facilitates process improvements that focus on

providing standard SAP functionality to meet business requirements wherever possible

Responsible for project deliverables including requirements gathering, blueprints, functional

specifications, system configuration, test, training and go-live support

Lead fit/gap workshops and present system solution alternatives to business leaders and/or

process owners

Assume the role of IT project leader, on business-driven IT initiatives, including technical upgrades

Review application code, documentation, architecture and development methods for quality and

adherence to standards

Perform daily support of user activity including maintenance and configuration of existing systems

Perform application changes as required to fulfill business requirements and in compliance with

SOX and segregation of duties policies

Facilitate the execution of user acceptance testing by business users

Works with and empowers the super users in the SAP SD and GTS areas

Ensure change management records are adequately documented

Continually seeks self-education to acquire deeper and wider knowledge and gain cross functional

knowledge
